After completing a course at Brisbane TAFE on Writing for Stage and Screen and participating in workshops organised by Newcastle University, I attended a Playwright’s Course conducted at the Civic Playhouse by Clare Heywood in 1993. This was the stimulus for the writing of the first of my one-act plays.

Obsessed (formerly As Long As We Can)
The story of a house-proud single mother and her rebellious teenage daughter who wants to leave school to find the father she never knew. The radio version presented on Mornington FM Radio, won a place in the radio competition in 2000. The Stage Version won 3rd place, best actress and third best supporting actress. awards in the Mornington Eisteddfod
Bailout
The 1970s reunion of a bomber crew, which served in England during World War 2, leads to revelations regarding relationships and the solving of a wartime mystery. An hour-long play, it was staged at Port Stephens in 2009.
